I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology, working under the guidance of Professor Xian-He Sun and Dr. Anthony Kougkas in the Gnosis Research Center. Since May 2022, I have been conducting subcontract research under the supervision of Dr. Kathryn Mohror and Dr. Hariharan Devarajan at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Center for Applied Scientific Computing. I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Software Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid.
My research centers on high-performance computing (HPC), with a focus on I/O performance optimization, I/O characterization, and bottleneck detection for HPC and deep learning workloads. I am particularly interested in analyzing I/O patterns to enhance the scalability of AI-driven workflows. Complementing my research, I bring over 15 years of industry experience in software development, including 10 years in project management and 8 years developing cloud-native, cross-platform mobile applications.
